Picture Restoration

Alison Gunter has been restoring paintings for over 25 years. Her experience includes cleaning and restoring Old Masters or repairing modern works of art, from valuable paintings to the sentimental value of family heirlooms. She undertakes the restoration of badly torn canvas to stabilizing paint or delicate surface cleaning. In addition to oil paintings Alison cleans prints and restores frames.

Amongst her credits are works for the British Royal Family, the Rothschild's, Bonham's, Blenheim Palace, the Paul Getty collection, the Canadian National Gallery and the Victorian Preservation Center in Oakland California. Alison has undertaken a number of high profile projects for clients from around the world including but not limited to UK, USA, Russia, Brazil and Malaysia.
