About the artist

Adie specialises in digital abstract artwork. His work is highly influenced by mandalas which are present in Oriental religious forms. Mandalas feature prominently in Jung's philosophies on archetypes and are visible throughout 20th Century Western abstract art. The idea of a mandala is that a circle is imbued with meaning. The perfect circle can be treated as a meditational focal point- or as an area of saturated calm.
