About the artist
David works from a studio in Bath, England, and his paintings are largely a result of his fascination with the human form and human behaviour.
His portrait commissions include one of The Princess Royal, and in 2004 his portrait of Ken Dodd OBE was bought by the National Portrait Gallery, London for its permanent collection. He has exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and held solo exhibitions at Beaux Arts in Bath, and Messum's in London.
