About the artist
Louise Vockins is an established textile designer who has been working within the textile industry for over twelve years. She recently moved to Buckinghamshire from North London where her studio was at the heart of exciting textile design projects for collections in the U.K, Europe and America. Clients include Harrods, Nina Campbell, Capella, Debenhams, Jasper Conran and Jeff Banks, Bedeck, Historical Collections and Ulster weavers. Capella wrote that Louise “expressed not only her creative abilities, but added her personality to the beautiful designs she created.
Louise thrives on creating new and exciting designs, drawing inspiration from a diverse range of sources from Vintage fabrics to contemporary art. These stylish new fine art prints on canvas or paper (floated on aluminium) reflect both a sophisticated understanding of contemporary trends, and a fluid sense of composition, line and colour.
